Digital HPT, I have no use for you

Hit a bit of a snag in my "pee on everything until beta" plan. Mr. Peeveme bought digital tests. No wonder they were so expensive. I like the analog version so I can compare line darkness. I know they say it's not supposed to mean anything but we all know it does. So I guess it's more of a "pee an anything analog until beta" plan.

I did pee on the digital this morning. It told me "yes". Which I already know but what I need to know is "how much?". "More than yesterday? I bought some analog tests so I will probably be taking one soon so as to preserve the integrity of my pre-beta pee regiment.

Mr. Peeveme wanted me to return the digitals. I was like, "Why? I can pee on these too." If you are a stick and you are in my vicinity I'm peeing on you. Your digital status wont save you. Mr. Peevme thought it was a waste of money. And I was like, "You need to stop. You need to stop right now. I need this. We spent 60K this year on IVF's so what's $20 especially if it makes me feel more secure. " And then he made a face and did a little smart-ass dance.

He's going to be so mad when he sees I bought more tests. Ah. Then it will be my turn to do a smart-ass little dance.

Dude, what's a lousy $20 compared to you're piece of mind?

Pee freely girlfriend!

Tee hee, my husband is absoultely, totally unaware about the cost of pee tests!! And $20 for 3 days of piece of mind? Ask him how much he would actually pay for a calm, happy wife? :)

Brenda,
I believe his response would be, "Why? Do you know where I could get one of those"?

Too funny! I LOVE it!

I am a pee stick snob and tend to usually get the digitals, but I might consider the analogs next round. The thought of seeing them darken every day seems reassuring.

I'm so happy you keep getting positives! I hope I'm right behind you in a few weeks! :)

I think you deserve to pee on anything you freakin' want after all you've been through! I know when (if) I get a BFP, I will want to see the thing every day since it took so long to get one! Congrats!!!!!

I don't admit buying pee sticks to my husband. And I've bought 27 in the past. This time however I bought three and told him with a very certain look on my face that I'm using them. He hates the thought of spending the money when there's a perfectly good blood test on the horizon. But I'm not strong enough to last that long and I'm too chicken not to have some sense of what the outcome of the blood test will be. I've positioned the packet proudly in the centre of the bathroom bench. I need his support this time. He can read the test outcome first.

Congratulations you funny girl - you're gonna have a happy child!

OH I agree entirely! The line darkness is the sole reason for all the peeing, after the first one, what use is a digital YES?

Ha, I totally understand you... I was practically trying to pee on the sticks before I got in the car I was so desperate!

Congrats and pee away!

Hey, I am all for the analog version, myself. My own scientific comparison of line darknesses was the earliest precursor of Tiny Boy, right before I was told my whopping first beta of 15 was "inconclusive."

Here's hoping you get a decently long run with the PIO and even better news in 2009!
